The Uzbek Film Agency's Deputy Director, Shukhrat Rizayev, has announced several joint projects with Russia-based "Lendok" studio.
As per the press release from "Roskino," a documentary showcasing the history behind Russia's largest mosque will commence production in July 2023.
Another significant endeavor is the project about returning the millennial Koran of Usman to its homeland, which was kept in St. Petersburg for many years before being transferred to Uzbekistan's capital Tashkent.
During the Days of Uzbek Cinema in Petersburg, five films, including "Uzbek," "Tengiz," "Legacy," "Magic Hat," and "Evolution," were showcased to the audience.
