Uzbekistan Airways, the national airline of Uzbekistan, has recently transported a quantity of the Daclatasvir drug from Sharm-el-Sheikh to Tashkent free of charge, Dunyo reports.
The Government of Egypt has generously allocated this drug to Uzbekistan as an aid for treating Hepatitis C.
The distribution of over 12,000 units of drugs to patients undergoing treatment will be overseen by the Research Institute of Virology, which operates under Uzbekistan's Ministry of Health.
