In the Yangiyat district of Tashkent, a lift, with 11 people inside, fell rapidly. FVV provided information about the situation.
According to their statement, the incident occurred on June 18 at 16:15 in a multi-story building located on Navruz Street, at the Yangi Darhan MFC in the Yangiyat district of Tashkent. The cargo lift accelerated due to a technical malfunction while descending from the top, and the automatic braking system of the lift activated and stopped it as it approached the first floor.
As a result, 11 individuals who were inside the lift sustained minor injuries of varying degrees of severity and were transported to Rkhtkhoyim. Currently, 8 individuals have been discharged from the hospital, while the remaining 3 individuals are still receiving medical assistance.
FSB personnel, along with the city and district FSB authorities, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the prosecutor's office, and SSB staff, arrived at the scene of the incident.
