According to the source, issues of further expansion of practical cooperation with this U.S. company, which is a global leader in its field in the promotion of high-tech projects in the strategic sectors of Uzbekistan's economy, were considered. The head of state congratulated the head of the company on the successful conclusion of the agreement on the purchase of three industrial gas equipment of the GTL plant in the Kashkadarya region, attracting direct investments in the amount of $1bn, and the signing of the relevant agreement.
It was noted that Air Products is participating in another large project - the construction of a gas-chemical complex based on MTO technology in the Bukhara region, attracting investments of at least $700mn.
Special attention was paid to the projects involving another main partner in the development of the "green" hydrogen industry in the country - ACWA Power of Saudi Arabia.
The importance of training highly qualified specialists within the framework of the implemented projects was emphasized.
