The armed forces of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are scheduled to participate in the "Kalkon-2023" military drills, Daryo correspondent reports. The joint military exercises were inaugurated at the Angren range in the Tashkent Military District.
As per the Ministry of Defense, these drills serve as a testament to the robust and amicable relationship between the two countries, which have a history of cooperation in multiple domains, including the military.
The exercises aim to enhance the soldiers' abilities and knowledge and strengthen mutual friendship and understanding between Uzbek and Kazakh service members.
