The governments of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan have undertaken a joint initiative to construct a car factory in the Chüy region. The manufacturing plant, known as the "Altyn Tulpar Unaa Kurulush," will have an initial production capacity of 10,000 cars annually and provide over 1,000 permanent employment opportunities.
Kyrgyzstan's Cabinet of Ministers has expressed gratitude to both countries' presidents for this project, which is anticipated to enhance the unity of these fraternal republics.
The strategically significant project for both nations was formally agreed upon during Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's official visit to Kyrgyzstan in January 2023.
