The leader of Turkey's opposition party, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, has accused Russia of plotting against his country and demanded that Russia "keep its hands off Turkey."
In response to a video in which Erdogan called for the Kurdish militia leader to vote for Kilicdaroglu, Kilicdaroglu claimed that Russia was behind the false information and conspiracies. Although he did not specify which Russian group was responsible for interfering in the voting process, he called for an end to the alleged interference.
The Russian presidential spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, denied that the Kremlin had interfered in Turkey's presidential election, stating that Russia "does not interfere in the internal affairs and electoral processes" of other countries and that it values its relationship with Turkey. He rejected Kilicdaroglu's accusations and called the people who gave him the information "liars."
We remind you that the elections in Turkey will be held on May 14.
