May 5. The Jogorku Kenesh adopted the draft law “On Ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement between the Government of Kyrgyzstan and the Government of Uzbekistan on Mutual Travel of Citizens dated October 3, 2006, signed on January 27, 2023, in Bishkek”. 24.kg reports.
The document guarantees citizens of both countries to cross the border by presenting an ID card, and persons under 16 years of age - a travel passport.
Earlier. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the agreement related to the simplified border crossing between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
