The number of male pedagogues teaching at school has skyrocketed by nearly 28,000 in the last 5 years.
According to the statistics agency of Uzbekistan, the number of permanent teachers in secondary schools in the 2022/2023 school year was 521,600 where 159,900 of them, or 30,7% of the total, were men.
In the 2022/2023 academic year, compared to the 2018/2019 academic year, the number of male pedagogues increased by 27.8 thousand or by 21.0%.
