Uzbekistan has reached a deal with a South Korean business to generate power utilizing waste gas, UzA reports.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Sejin G&E So., LTD. of South Korea inked a transaction for $55mn. The contract calls for the execution of an investment project including the generation of energy from waste gas collected from landfills.
Previously, it was stated that an electricity extraction complex was going to be constructed in the Tashkent region at the expense of waste gas processing in household waste landfills.
