U.S. billionaire Elon Musk's Space X company will be among 500 delegates from 40 countries to participate in the international transport forum scheduled for May 3-4, 2023, in Turkmenistan's capital Ashgabat, the event's key organizer, the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, has reported.

With SpaceX's assistance, Turkmenistan launched its first national satellite from Cape Canaveral in 2015 (Florida, USA), built by the French company Thales Alenia Space.
The leitmotif of the upcoming forum will discuss post-pandemic recovery and adaptation to the new realities in developing efficient international transport and transit corridors.
Officials of several international organizations and companies, such as Airbus, Boeing, General Electric, Lufthansa, Thales, Cargo Lux, Fly Dubai, Turkish Airlines, Dragon Oil, Vitol, Lukoil, Lenovo, Hyundai, Toyota, Casale, Sumitomo, KazGrain, Russian Railways, and others have also confirmed their participation.
They will be given tours of the international seaport of Turkmenbashi, Ashgabat airport, and, finally, the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat highway, which is being built in the northern direction, to the borders of Uzbekistan.
