On April 18, the Boeing 737-800 of the Turkish AnadoluJet airline landed at Tashkent International Airport, opening a new destination: Ankara-Tashkent-Ankara.
The crew and 160 passengers were greeted with flowers and a water salute before the Turkish ambassador to Uzbekistan, representatives of the Ministry of Tourism, and the Ministry of Transport together welcomed the travelers.
AnadoluJet, a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, plans to fly once a week - on Mondays.
Headquartered in Ankara, the air carrier's fleet includes 59 aircraft conducting flights to 89 destinations.
