The delegation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation is expected to go to Kabul to establish talks with Taliban officials.
The ambassador of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Afghanistan, Mohammad Saeed Al-Ayash, said that the delegation would like to meet with the officials of the "Taliban" regarding the restoration of women's rights to work. The ambassador added that jobs should be provided within the framework of Islam.
The delegation will also discuss the economic, health care, and educational assistance to the people of Afghanistan. Muhammad Saeed Al-Ayash informed us about this in the process of handing over aid to the Afghan Red Crescent Society.
He said that the Islamic State and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation have constantly discussed women's issues with the Taliban.
"Our office condemned the order which bans women to work and stressed the need to provide employment for women in a way that does not conflict with Islam and Afghan culture.”
The Director General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) office in Afghanistan, Dr Muhammad Saeed Al-Ayash, assumed office in the Afghan capital, Kabul, on Wednesday 4 March 2022.
