Every sixth employer in Russia employs migrant workers, most of them are from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. This is reported by "TASS" based on HeadHunter survey.
Hh.ru research showed that 16 often employ citizens of Uzbekistan (56 percent), Tajikistan (55 percent) and Kyrgyzstan (53 percent).
61 percent of Russian companies hire migrant workers for positions that do not require special skills. Also, 59 percent of companies are ready to hire migrants for positions related to physical labour and professional experience.
Every tenth employer asks foreigners for school degrees, and 5% of the company’s recommendations from previous workplaces are also important.
59 percent of Russian employers fancy migrant workers because they settle with less payment than Russian citizens.
Every second respondent (54 percent) answered that labour migrants agree to work in conditions that are not suitable for the local population.
Surveys were conducted from March 18 to April 3, 2023, among 2,198 Russian job seekers and 483 employing companies.
