February 26. Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his birthday and wished him good health and great success, as well as peace and prosperity to the fraternal Turkish people.
The President of Turkey expressed deep gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan and the fraternal people for the support provided during the most challenging period. Thanks to the work of rescuers and medical workers, dozens of people's lives were saved, and thousands of residents of Hatay province were provided with qualified assistance.
Mirziyoyev once again reiterated his words of encouragement in connection with the devastating earthquakes in the southeastern provinces of Turkey and confirmed his readiness to provide the necessary assistance in eliminating their consequences.
The plan for future meetings, including preparation for the next Uzbekistan-Turkey Strategic Cooperation Council meeting and the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States, were discussed.
