On February 24, President Mirziyoyev visited the Higher Military Aviation Academy which moved Jizzakh to the city of Karshi back in 2019.
The top-notch educational and training facilities allow cadets to conduct military aircraft control and maintenance training at the Khanabad airfield and participate directly in training ranges. Flight training center and information-resource center, training laboratories for 4 specializations serve to increase the level of professionalism of military pilots.
"The military level of a country shows its strength and by educated, intelligent, strong-willed soldiers, engineers and pilots like you," Mirziyoyev noted.
The country’s Commander-in-Chief had lunch with the students and went through sports and educational activities. Officials were given instructions to raise air defence to a new level based on the threats observed in the world, to start collecting unmanned devices as an experiment. It was emphasized that it is necessary to improve the activities of this educational institution and implement joint educational programs with foreign institutions.
