On February 23, Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Ishaq Dar, the Minister of Finance of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the chairman of the Pakistani part of the commission visiting Tashkent as part of the session of the bilateral intergovernmental commission.
The parties paid special attention to the implementation of recently signed agreements on transit and preferential trade. The head of state emphasized the need to develop two-way road traffic and speed up the railway construction project connecting Central and South Asia through Afghanistan and leading to the ports of Pakistan.
