Two migrant workers passed away at a construction site in Kudrovo, Leningrad Region, Russia, on Tuesday (February 21), at around 8:15 p.m. local time, media reports.
Reportedly, a construction site security guard was examining the facility when he heard the commotion, and later on, he noticed the buck hoist falling to the ground.
The incident claimed the lives of a 20-year-old Uzbek citizen and an 18-year-old man born in Tajikistan.
An investigation is underway in the Leningrad region on compliance with labor protection legislation.
