On February 17, Tashkent International airport solemnly opened the left part of the terminal that occupies 2640 m2.
The “sterile” zone showcases the new Duty-Free store and Art Bazaar trade pavilion with the shops of artisans, national gastronomy, gadgets and international SIM cards, jewelry, baby food, sweets, a pharmacy and a cafe-bar. The passengers also may relish the first co-working corner with the charging points.
By the end of March, another sterile zone will be commissioned where travellers can stay in a capsule hotel with bathrooms, rooms for ablution and prayers, as well as the Anjir business hall.
This is a completely new look, which will expand the airport complex by another 875 m2 for a comfortable fly of international and transfer passengers.
