The coronavirus is abating
In accordance with the epidemic directive, the population is being vaccinated with a booster dose vaccine against coronavirus infection. As a result of coverage of 95% of the population of the republic with vaccination against coronavirus infection among all countries, the disease is not registered among the vaccinated.
Vaccination is working
In order to prevent cervical cancer in the republic, since 2019, the vaccination of 9-year-old girls was included in the national vaccination schedule against VPCH-human papillomaviruses in the health system, and 1.5 million girls were vaccinated against human papillomaviruses in the past period.
Since 2018, vaccination of 4-month-old children with IPV-inactivated poliomyelitis vaccine has been put into practice in the health care system, and from 2022. Vaccination of 9-month-old children with inactivated poliomyelitis vaccine was included in the national vaccination schedule. Vaccination against poliomyelitis continues in the administrative regions, and active identification of suspected cases of acute flaccid paralysis and epidemiological surveillance is being carried out.
In order to prevent the introduction and spread of measles in 2022, 98.4% of 3,303,000 children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years were vaccinated against measles, and vaccination activities are still ongoing. The goal is to prevent children from getting measles.
