The head of state stressed that over the past few years, at Uzbekistan’s initiative and with the support of the entire global community, four resolutions of the General Assembly were adopted on the most relevant partnership areas. Besides, several major international forums and meetings were jointly organized in the Central Asian republic. Along with the abovementioned, platforms for the dialogue of women leaders in Central Asia and the Academy of Preventive Diplomacy for Youth have been launched.
On her turn, Natalia Gherman assured that in her new position as head of the executive structure of the counter-terrorism committee of the United Nations Security Council, she would continue to promote close cooperation with Uzbekistan in the field of ensuring regional security and stability.
