The "Mahalla" charitable public foundation provided financial support to more than 16,000 low-income families spending 8 billion soums. 1000 people received 1 billion soums for treatment, 87 were given wheelchairs, and 14 were provided orthopaedic devices. The information was announced during a briefing by Hasan Salomov, head of the information service of the "Mahalla" charity public foundation.
The “Saxovat va ko‘mak” (Generosity and Support") fund under the Foundation became the recipient of 613 billion soums giving off 225 billion soums to needy families based on the decisions of local Councils of People's Deputies.
More than 222 billion soums were handed over to nearly 200,000 residents included in the "Temir Daftar". Address-based support for women registered in the "Women's register" is also carried out at the expense of the fund. The fund donated 562 sewing machines, and 153 got household appliances.
Also, in 2022, more than 100 billion soums were spent to support women in need of social protection. Financial assistance of 735 million soums was provided to young men and women who entered the "Youth Register".
