In 2022, Uzbekistan exported over 38.2mn pairs of shoes worth $44.6mn, the State Statistics Committee has reported.
Reportedly, last year footwear exports surged by $7mn (118.7%) compared to 2021. The lion’s share of shoes was exported to neighboring Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Russia.
