From 2023, the engineering-communication and social infrastructure system of the regions of Uzbekistan, as well as the service and service sectors will undergo a total overhaul. This is provided for in the 34th goal of the draft state program for 2023 public discussion.
The goal is to develop a centralized heat supply system for multi-apartment houses, widely introduce energy-saving technologies and increase energy efficiency by:
- identifying central streets, intersections and densely populated areas of cities and districts to set modern sanitary and hygiene stations;
- involving local and foreign business entities in the creation of a network of modern sanitary and hygiene stations;
- allocation of land areas to business entities and infrastructure networks (water, electricity, sewage network) will be supported.
In addition, the level of provision of centralized drinking water to the population of the republic will be increased to 77%. 105 structures and 1.4 thousand kilometres of drinking water and sewage networks will be built in 54 facilities that are changing from year to year and 17 that are starting anew.
The execution of tasks will be carried out through the year 2023. The costs are covered by the funds of the state budget. The Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Economy, the Ministry of Economy and Finance is assigned as s responsible body.
