Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov received the Ambassador of the European Union to Uzbekistan Charlotte Adriaen to discuss cooperation in political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres, including the bilateral and multilateral events aimed at strengthening interconnectedness and sustainable development, the press service of Uzbekistan's Foreign Ministry has reported.
As noted, it is important to use the capacity of joint interaction bodies, including organizing their next meetings in 2023. The sides emphasized the significance of the wide implementation of joint projects under the EU Strategy for Central Asia in such areas as digitalization, green economy, energy, environment, and climate change.
