A meeting chaired by Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev discussed measures to bring down the inflation rate below 10% in the current year, as the country's inflation reached 12.3% by late 2022. In this respect, the government intends to increase the production volume of consumer goods, including food products, to reduce logistics costs and ensure affordability.
Reportedly, the head of state instructed to use a total of 200,000 ha of land allocated to the population needs to increase agroproduction. Besides, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev urged to create the road maps for each district and city based on the potential of the regions.
