Acting Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov on February 7 received the First Deputy Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Asein Isayev, who arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the international round table entitled Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan: new prospects for strategic partnership.
'The Agenda of the meeting included the discussion of the joint measures for the comprehensive implementation of the agreements reached during the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Kyrgyz Republic on January 26-27, as well as the schedule, organizational and substantive aspects of the joint events between the parliaments, governments, and regions of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan for 2023', the statement of Uzbek Foreign Ministry says.
Reportedly, particular attention is drawn to cooperation in the fields of culture and education.
