Acting Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov on Monday (February 6) expressed his condolences to all those affected by the deadly earthquake in Türkiye.
I heard with a feeling of sadness about the devastating earthquake hit #Turkiye today in the morning. I express my deepest condolences to the all who suffered and their close ones. We stand with our brothers and sisters at this very difficult moment for the people of Turkiye.

Earlier Daryo reported that the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency of Türkiye (AFAD) said the quake first struck at 4:17 am local time (0117 GMT), in the town of Pazarcık, an hour north of Gaziantep, a key industrial city in southern Türkiye. A second tremor was felt at 04:26 am local time (0126GMT), with the epicenter in the town of Nurdağı, some 80km (50 miles) southwest.
