In 2023, the teacher wages in preschool educational institutions will be equivalent to that of secondary school educators.
The wages of kindergarten principals, assistant teachers, employees of the kindergarten canteen, and accounting departments will also significantly rise. This was announced by the representative of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, Mavluda Askarkhodjayeva, at an AIMC briefing. She stated that in 2023 salaries of employees of the preschool education system are set to rise as follows:
- the salary of pedagogical staff will be equivalent to the salary of a secondary school educator;
- the salary of the director of the preschool educational institution will be equivalent to the salary of the director of a secondary school (groups 3 and 4);
- the salary of an assistant educator to surge by 70%;
- canteen employees and accountants will receive a 100-percent allowance.
