In cooperation with the Bukhara regional prosecutor's office, regional law enforcement agencies and specialists of "Uzneftgazinspeksiya» inspected the region’s gas filling stations in the region which revealed the embezzlement exceeding 26.2 billion soums . This was reported by the information service of the General Prosecutor's Office.
The private companies’ two stations illegitimately removed the stamp and installed on the existing pipe the gas meter equipment without any documents to steal the methane gas As a result of the decrease in gas movement, the volume of gas passing through the meter diaphragm is shown as artificially reduced.
As a result, the firms' branches caused damage worth 11.1 billion soums and 15.1 billion soums each.
In connection with this situation, the regional department of the department under the General Prosecutor's Office issued an arrest warrant against officials of the gas supply company "Hududgaz Bukhara" under Article 205, Part 2, Clause "a" and Article 207, Part 1, and the criminal case was initiated against the officials of LLC under Article 169, Part 4, Clause "a" of the Criminal Code.
As part of the criminal case, 4 suspects were detained. The investigation is being conducted by the Bukhara regional prosecutor's office. Other details will not be disclosed to prevent interference and obstruction of the investigation.
