The Embassy of Uzbekistan and the Medical Command of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Korea reached an agreement on the medical assistance courses of Uzbek servicemen in Korea, "Dunyo" news agency reports.
At the end of the training, all military personnel of Uzbekistan successfully passed the practical tests of the Armed Forces Commission of Korea and all participants from Uzbekistan were given international military certificates doctors.
In 2023, 15 more medical specialists from the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan are expected to improve their skills in these courses.
The Emergency Medicine course complements the US Department of Defense's Tactical Combat Wound Management course, which has proven effective in the US, Canadian, German and other armed forces.
Unlike existing first aid courses, which are focused on theoretical and practical training, these courses are aimed at practical mastering of first aid during combat operations, organizing safe evacuation on the battlefield to save the lives of the wounded.
In 2022, the Medical School of the Armed Forces of Korea was awarded to conduct such courses.
