Electric generators have been installed in the maternity hospitals and medical institutions of Uzbekistan’s capital Tashkent. This will enable the uninterrupted power supply from January 10-18, when severe cold is expected.
The press service of the capital administration has unveiled pictures of the new generators acquired by the Ministry of Health that were installed in maternity wards 1 and 6, the city’s children’s PTC hospital, branch of the Republican medical center of oncology and radiology and city infectious-clinical hospital 2.
In addition, 7,000 gloves and 3,000 thermoses were issued to employees of the General Directorate of Beautification.
The tea and food are to be provided to the officers of the Traffic Safety Service and district improvement offices who will be on duty on these days.
