The State Customs Committee informed UzA that 60,000 boxes of "Dok-1 Max" medicine brought to Uzbekistan in December are kept under strict control. In addition, two batches of this medicine, which were brought earlier, are also kept in the warehouse of the Customs Committee of Uzbekistan.
Husan Tangriyev, head of the committee's information service, informed that the drug "Dok-1 Max" entered the market in Uzbekistan in 2012. According to the experts, this medicine had no side effects during this period. Such a side effect was observed only in one consignment of drugs.
According to the current procedures, a certificate confirming the registration of the drug in Uzbekistan and certificates of conformity for each series of imported drugs are submitted to the customs authorities before the drugs undergo customs clearance.
18 children died in Samarkand, 1 child each in Tashkent and Kashkadarya, a total of 20 children died after consuming the syrup of Dok-1 Max.
The sale of all drugs belonging to the company that produced "Dok-1 Max" has been temporarily suspended.
