Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Novak in an interview with the TASS agency informed that Russia is negotiating with the representatives of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan on increasing natural gas supplies to their domestic markets due to the growing demand for fuel in those Central Asian countries.
‘We are also discussing with our partners from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan the increase of gas supply to their domestic market, as they have increased consumption,’ Deputy Prime Minister said.
In addition, Vladimir Novak said that Russia has agreed with Azerbaijan to increase the supply of gas for its domestic consumption, and may discuss a swap supply in the future.
