Tokyo on Thursday (December 22) hosted a meeting of Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov with the President and CEO of All Nippon Airways Shinichi (ANA) Inoue, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan reports.
The two sides expressed their interest in strengthening bilateral cooperation in tourism and aviation. The Japanese side positively assessed Uzbekistan’s efforts to boost the tourism sector and to ensure the augmentation of the tourism infrastructure for foreign travelers.
Particular attention was drawn to the joint efforts to increase the touristic flow between Uzbekistan and Japan, including through the development of civil aviation in all directions. With this in mind, the parties reflected on the flight management measures of ANA to Uzbekistan’s historic cities of Samarkand, Bukhara, etc.
