Shavkat Mirziyoyev said that heating centres in Tashkent are worn out and energy consumption was too high during the meeting with activists in Uchtepa district in Tashkent. "Daryo" correspondent reports about this.
"A large area can be supplied with the gas and electricity consumed by one station. An unprecedented number of production enterprises have been opened in the city in recent years,” the president said.
The head of state said that it is planned to create 55,000 jobs.
"The need for electricity will increase year by year. First of all, we need to introduce modern technologies.
We bring both electricity and heat generation technologies from abroad and re-equip the heat centres. In order to provide for the city where three million people live, it is necessary to invent something new every day," Shavkat Mirziyoyev concluded.
