Uzbekistan’s capital Tashkent on December 19-23 will host the IX International Biennale of Children's Drawings entitled ‘Tashkent Joys’.
Hosted by the Ikuo Hirayama International Caravanserai of Culture, this year’s event is to attract about 20 young artists aged 5 to 15 from Azerbaijan, Italy, France, and other countries, including neighboring Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. In total, about 2,500 works will be presented at the Biennale. Two thousand of the drawings were submitted by Uzbek young artists.
