The ‘Finance Inquirer’ edition citing the data of the RGCA international study and UNICEF, the World Bank, and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), has published the top 10 countries with the best dynamics in enrolling children in preschool education. Uzbekistan has topped the global ranking.
The report includes an overview of long-term trends in early childhood education, covering 2018 to 2020. The data shows that preschool education in most regions is either stagnating or has moved into a zone of negative growth, while several countries are characterized by impressive growth.
The most striking example is Uzbekistan, where the dynamics of growth in the coverage of children aged 3 to 6 with preschool education amounted to 59% in the period under review.
