The Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan and the Asian Development Bank signed a 500 million dollar loan agreement as part of the state budget support project within the framework of the II International Economic Forum of Uzbekistan, which is being held in Samarkand. UzA news agency reported this.
Also, the Ministry of Finance and ADB have inked a 3.3 million dollar loan agreement to support the climate-adapted water resources management project in the Aral Sea basin sector.
ADB and the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services and the Public Private Partnership Development Agency have also signed a cooperation agreement with an initial value of 100 million dollars within the Bukhara heat supply system modernization framework project with the advisory support of ADB.
In addition, the Ministry of Finance and the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) reached a loan agreement of $100 million as part of the budget support project.
