On November 2, Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the presentation of additional measures aimed at supporting greenhouse farms. This was reported by the President's press service.
The presidential ordinance provides a new mechanism for growing and selling products in the greenhouse was developed.
According to the document, the Horticulture and Greenhouse Development Agency delivers seeds, seedlings, mineral fertilizers and other material resources to greenhouses, and ultimately procures and exports products. The Quarantine and Plant Protection Agency provides nursery care services.
The document envisages financial relief that extends the loan repayment period from 7 to 14 years and the grace period from 3 to 5 years for greenhouse farms and cold storage facilities from international financial institutions and state trust funds.
In order to stimulate the production of exportable products, it is planned to allocate bank loans in foreign currency at an annual rate of 4 percent. It is decided to open the open auctions of the total areas for the establishment of modern industrial-type greenhouses and logistics centers.
The head of state approved these measures. Instructions were given on the establishment of commercial complexes with the possibility of storing, sorting and packaging fruits and vegetables, and drawing water and electricity networks for new greenhouses.
