Uzbekistan sold abroad carpets worth 26.6 million dollars in January-September 2022 which is 4.2 million dollars less compared to the corresponding period of last year. This was reported by the State Statistics Committee.
The main countries to which Uzbekistan exported carpets in the 9th month of 2022 are as follows:
- Kyrgyzstan - 15.6 million dollars;
- Azerbaijan - 3.6 million dollars;
- Afghanistan - 2.6 million dollars;
- Russia – 2.5 million dollars;
- Kazakhstan - 1.1 million dollars;
- Tajikistan - 401 thousand dollars.
