Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India Dilshod Ahatov held meetings with the President of the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) Jyoti Mayal and the President of the Foreign Tour Operators Association Riaz Munshi, Dunyo news agency reports.
Jyoti Mayal, president of the Association of Indian Travel Agents noted that the travel agency is ready to increase the flow of Indian tourists.
Riaz Munshi, president of the Indian Association of Foreign Tour Operators proposed to increase the number of existing air flights between the two countries.
Indian Association of Travel Agents was founded in 1951, and today it includes more than 2,500 different companies operating in the tourism sector. The Association of Foreign Tour Operators of India is one of the largest associations in the field of tourism in the country, and the number of tour companies and agencies that are members of it currently exceeds two thousand.
