The Malaysian company is considering the possibility of managing the Bukhara airport on the basis of a public-private partnership, the press service of Uzbekistan Airports reports.
A meeting was held between representatives of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Airports and Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad.
During the negotiations of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Airports and Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, the sides talked about the development of airport services in Uzbekistan.
The parties agreed to organize the visit of the Malaysian company to Uzbekistan and conduct additional negotiations, as well as to provide detailed information about the concept of the development of the Bukhara airport.
Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad was established in 1992. Today, it owns 39 airports across Malaysia and one international airport in Turkey.
