The diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan in the United Arab Emirates organized the visit of Nadine Patrick Kudin, head of the UAE Facetime Management Service (FMS) company, member of the Swiss Business Council, to Tashkent and Samarkand. This was reported by "Dunyo" news agency.
Nadine Patrick plans to set up training courses for tourism sphere specialists in Uzbekistan based on the Swiss education system and provide catering services to hotels in the Middle East, Mauritius, Seychelles and the Maldives.
The members of the UAE delegation held meetings at the Ministries of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, Employment and Labor Relations, Higher and Secondary Special Education and Agriculture of Uzbekistan and studied the prospects of cooperation. The head of the FMS visited the Tashkent Tourism and Hotel Management Technical College, Silk Road the University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, and Samarkand Tourism and Cultural Heritage Technical College.
It was agreed to sign cooperation documents within the framework of the Tashkent International Tourism Fair, which will be held from November 30 to December 2 this year.
The FMS has been operating in the UAE since 1999, attracting investors to hotels, providing consulting services in the construction of hotels and resorts, introducing advanced service systems in restaurants, creating modern experience centres and their deals with issues of employment of graduates.
In cooperation with the Swiss Education Academy, it has implemented more than 100 internship programs in European, Asian and African countries, and cooperates with organizations such as Cesar Ritz colleges, the School of hotel management, Hotel Institute Montreux and Swiss hotel management school.
