On October 14, President Mirziyoyev spoke at the "Central Asia-Russia" summit in Astana. This was reported by the press service of the president.
Presidents of Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan exchanged views on the cooperation in the "Central Asia-Russia" format.
In order to strengthen regional partnership, Mirziyoyev proposed some initiatives aimed at bringing relations to a higher level in the trade-economic, transport-communication, energy and cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as environmental protection.
