Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced the allocation of 30 percent of the additional regional funds to "Initiative budget" projects from next year during the video conference.
The money will be funnelled only to the projects voted by the local residents through the "Initiative Budget" which will be increased to 8 trillion soums.
“The head of state drew the attention of officials to the fact that 1,500 residents of the neighbourhood did not vote for any project. The newly elected chairmen made promises, but did not use this opportunity,” the President said.
