Sherzod Asadov, Uzbek president’s press secretary, informed about the work schedule of the president this week, Daryo correspondent reports.
"On October 11, the head of state will receive the head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov to discuss the issues of further development of interregional cooperation with new content and specific projects, as well as the further acceleration of the ongoing joint programs of cooperation," Asadov started.
On October 12-14, President Mirziyoyev will visit Kazakhstan to participate at the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) before joining the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of the Independent States, and the "Central Asia - Russia" summit.
The agenda of the visit includes holding bilateral meetings with foreign countries, including Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vo Thi Anh Suan, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif and heads of a number of international organizations.
