The period of temporary stay in Thailand for Uzbek travellers has been extended from 15 to 30 days, Dunyo news agency reports.
By the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Thailand, the period of temporary stay of Uzbek citizens receiving a visa on arrival, from October 1, 2022, to March 31, 2023, will be extended from 15 to 30 days.
According to the information received from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan, the requirement to provide a vaccination certificate or a PCR test for all categories of citizens is no longer valid.
Yet, the following documents are required to obtain the visa:
- passport (valid for at least 6 months from the date of planned departure from Thailand);
- 1 photo of 4x6 cm size, on a white background (must be taken at least 6 months before the visa is issued, it is possible to take a photo at the airport for 10 US dollars);
- a copy of the return air ticket;
- visa fee of 2,000 baht per person (approximately US$55), payable in Thai baht.
In addition, citizens may be required to provide proof of hotel reservation or 20,000 Thai baht (approximately US$550) per person at the immigration check point.
