As of September 1, 2022, Uzbekistan has exported 65,500 tons of grapes worth 56.3 million dollars since the beginning of the year, east-fruit.com reports.
During this period, 8,100 tons of raisins worth 4.2 million dollars were sent to the foreign market.
The indicator of the supply of grapes to foreign countries increased by 1.8 times compared to last year.
Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, UAE, Latvia, and Estonia are among top importers of Uzbek grapes.
Currently, farms of all categories have 181,000 hectares of vineyards, and it is planned to plant 61.2 million seedlings on 50,000 hectares by the end of the year.
According to experts, this year's harvest will be 1.8 million tons, which is 122 thousand tons more than last year.
