The export of agricultural products from Uzbekistan to Russia has increased by more than 50 %, the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade cites.
In January-July 2022, the export of agricultural products from Uzbekistan to Russia increased by 52% compared to the same period in 2021 and amounted to 222.5 million dollars.
During the visit of the government delegation of Uzbekistan headed by the Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Jamshid Khojayev to Russia on September 1-2, the parties reached an agreement with the Russian government on the development of mutual relations to increase the Uzbek produce exporting with high added value, develop transport and logistics communications in Central Asia, and expand of interregional cooperation and other urgent issues on the agenda of Uzbekistan-Russia cooperation.
